About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an opportunity for an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technical Officer to join their Coffs Harbour Laboratory on a full-time basis.
Hours are between 7am and 8.30pm, with participation in the weekend and on-call roster as required.
To be considered, you will need to have demonstrated experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Haematology
- Biochemistry
- Blood banking
- Haemostasis
- SRA, LIS, OHS, continuing education and quality systems
You will be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to prioritise your workload and complete your work tasks accurately and efficiently. You will also possess a strong commitment to laboratory turnaround times, a high attention to detail and strong customer service skills. Importantly, you'll be a self-motivated and effective worker, whether undertaking tasks autonomously or as part of a team, and consistently display accuracy in the processing and recording of results.
Please note: An AIMS-accredited medical laboratory science degree is a requirement.
