Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour and offers both routine testing and specialised testing for referral laboratories throughout Australia.
About the Opportunities
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology currently has multiple opportunities for Warehouse Stores Persons to join their team in Bowen Hills, Brisbane.
These are casual positions working 35 - 75 hours per fortnight. Hours will vary between 7am - 5pm, Monday - Friday. There is opportunity to move into a permanent full-time capacity in the future.
This role will see you primarily responsible for picking, packing and aiding in the delivery of goods to both an internal and external customer base – on time and in full.
Some of your duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Picking, packing and distributing internal customer orders;
- Timely delivery of stores to internal departments;
- Loading and unloading of trucks;
- Assembling production orders;
- Receiving and managing inbound freight;
- Moving bulk items (e.g. furniture and archive boxes);
- Driving and carrying out forklift work;
- Delivering completed orders to customers; and
- Packing shipments of Specimens interstate / overseas.
About You
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking someone who has experience within a receiving warehouse operation capacity.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter who is experienced in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines. You'll be able to work collaboratively as part of a high functioning team, and always demonstrate outstanding customer service. A desire to learn, alongside a continuous improvement outlook, will ensure you thrive in this role.
Credentials required for the role:
- Forklift licence
- Safe Transport of Infectious Substances by Air - CASA Approved Course (CASA.DGTRG.0051-A)
- Dangerous Goods by Road certification of participation
