Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 2000 people.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a flexible part-time Pathology Specimen Collector to join their Northern Rivers Pathology Team. Initial training is at the main procedural centre in Lismore before permanent rostering between our collection centres at Byron Bay, Mullumbimby, Ocean Shores and Bangalow. Hours are between 07.00 and 18.00, Monday - Friday, with participation in the Saturday roster.
The primary task of this role is to take blood samples from patients.

The successful applicant must be meticulous, efficient, able to work alone or as part of a team, and have a demonstrable history of attention to detail and customer service.
You must hold a relevant qualification (Certificate III or IV in Pathology Specimen Collection is desirable), have a First Aid Certificate, driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle. Candidates with venipuncture experience will also be highly regarded.
Successful candidates will embark on a comprehensive training course during their first twelve months of employment. Upon completion of training, candidates receive an SNP training certificate.
The high level of service provided by Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is delivered by a dedicated staff comprising of pathologists, scientists, technicians, laboratory assistants, collection personnel, couriers, computer personnel, pathology services assistants and other support staff. The successful candidates will join a welcoming team of dedicated health professionals with a focus on patient care.

An attractive hourly rate of $20.00 - $22.83 will be offered to each successful applicant.
