Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour and provides a range of cardiac investigation & diagnostic services including Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Holter Monitoring and ECGs.
Applications are invited for an exciting full time opportunity for a Histopathology Scientist or Technician in the Immunohistochemistry area of the Bowen Hills Histology laboratory.
The incumbent will join a team providing routine immunohistochemistry, special stains and immunofluorescence services to a large number of on-site and regional pathologists, and will be involved in all routine aspects of a busy IHC lab, including microtomy, stainer loading and maintenance, special stains and whole slide imaging, as well as other general histology laboratory duties.
A Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Diploma in Clinical Laboratory Techniques or other relevant qualification is a must. Experience is preferred but not essential.
The ideal candidate will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective team member. In addition, you will be exceptionally organised, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and perform duties with accuracy and efficiency.
